Once again, the West Point Parents Club of Ga has asked Houck’s Grille to show the Army vs. Air Force football game for us this Saturday. The Air Force parent club has been invited. We hope to have a great turn out to cheer on Army in the first step towards winning the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy again this year!
We would love for West Point grads to join us at 10930 Crabapple Rd B130, Roswell, GA 30075. The game starts at noon.
Thanks.

The quest for the Commander In Chief trophy is now upon us.
Army trounced Eastern Michigan last Saturday to clinch bowl game eligibility.
Now for the important part of this message…Army hosts Air Force this Saturday with given an 80% chance to walk away with the victory according to ESPN. They are also seven point favorites according to Vegas.
So we will gather this Saturday to root the Black Knights to victory. Here are the particulars:
Who: You and everyone who knows you
What: Army – Air Force football game watch party
When: Saturday, 03 November, starting promptly at noon
Where: Y-Knots Sports Bar, Peachtree City, GA
Look forward to seeing each and all.

Last week we had 19 people gather to watch a game against Miami (O) which was never in doubt (really). That brings Army to five wins on the season and needs only one more win to qualify to go to the Military Bowl in Fort Worth Texas. Never too early to get your tickets.
This week would normally be the last Friday of the month Southside gathering, but due to the game Saturday, we will combine this month’s Southside Gathering with the Saturday’s Army football watch party. So here are the particulars:
Who: Everyone not currently in the morgue or in their final resting place.
What: Army vs Eastern Michigan and the October monthly Southside Gathering.
When: Saturday, 27 October starting promptly at noon.
Where: Y-Knots Sports Bar, Peachtree City GA, most likely on the upper floor.
Why: ESPN gives Army a 56% chance to win, Army is on a three-game win streak, an Army win makes them bowl eligible, Army is on track to have a second consecutive year with a 10 win season, every good Army football fan really cares, if you don’t attend even your dog will hate you. And you cannot ignore that Y-Knots has the world famous inferno Firebird wrap with tater tots or sweet potato fries.
A couple of reminders, ok maybe three reminders:
1. Y-Knots opens at noon, so no need to show up early unless you want to go through the farmers market.
2. Because of the farmers market, parking is limited in front of the restaurant, but there is plenty of parking in rear.
3. Y-knots is “adult only”; no one under 21 allowed in, but they still let Bob Karpiak in.
Go Army – Beat Navy!
