West Point Parents' Club of Illinois
The club had a great outing to Lake Geneva on October 1st. One group started out walking 9 miles along the northern part of the lake before meeting up with the second group to do an additional 6 mile walk along the southern shore. It was beautiful weather and we enjoyed a nice lunch afterwards.
Stay tuned as we finalize our upcoming events for the 2023-2024 school year. There is plenty of fun on the horizon including a parent’s ruck, boodle boxes and more.

Once again, we will be hosting our 3rd annual Fall Picnic and Shoot-a-Round at one of the premier shooting ranges in northern Illinois. The Aurora Sportsman’s Club has top-notch facilities and offers something for everyone in shooting sports. Everyone who attended last year had a great time and came away with a smile on their face. This is a free event but anyone wanting to shoot firearms will be asked for a small $20 donation to cover range fees and ammunition expenses.
Everyone on ASC property must complete and sign a Waiver Form. Please fill the waiver forms out and bring them with you. See you all soon!

New cadet parents have the opportunity to share their initial impressions of West Point with other parents who truly understand. This is always a fun event to support our Illinois Cadets. Cadet Candidate Welcome Picnic is planned for Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Clarkson Park Lodge, 1950 New Willow Road, Northfield, IL. Time 3:00 – 6:00 pm.
This is an opportunity to welcome the Class of 2023 into our family. There will also be a Q&A session with current cadets.
We will be sending out additional details, but we will need current cadets to volunteer for the Q&A sessions. We will also solicit parents on bringing food to share.
