Picture of the WP Women's Boxing team who attended the first USIBA tournament to include female boxers on 4/11-4/13 in San Francisco.  The WP team took home 4 individual National Titles as well as first place for Women's Boxing.

 

Illinois Cadet Megan Coley 2014 is a member of the team.

 

 

The WPPC-IL had their final meeting of the year, Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (VA Hospital) in North Chicago, IL.  We had a guided tour of the new facility, the only one of its kind in the USA.  It's the nations largest integrated health care system combining services for Veterans and Civilians alike.  Our tour guide, Jayna Legg, LTCOL, Ret., did a great job explaining how the model works.  Following the tour we held our final meeting of the year and elected the new Exec. Board.  Minutes from the meeting will be posted on the website soon.

 

 

In February the alumni group of the WPPC-IL had a get together at the Hofbrau Haus in Rosemont. A good time was had by all.
