West Point Parents of Illinois, held their annual Meet, Greet and Eat for the families of the incoming Plebes.
On June 10th the club welcomed the 2016 Plebe Families for all over northern Illinois.

General Membership Meeting February 26, 2012
Welcome & Call to Order: Co-President Dan Jostes called the general meeting to order at 3:35pm at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, IL.
Pledge of Allegiance by attendees. Went around room and had everyone introduce themselves and name their cadet.
President: Dan and Cathy Jostes reviewed positions recently filled and those still open. Janine Mogan was nominated as Assistant Treasurer by Denise Gibson, seconded by Julie Coley. Janine Mogan voted in for new Assistant Treasurer position. Positions filled include Plebe Parent Handbook Camille Smith; graphic artist Sue Anderson; and Force Liaison Steve Beilski. Class Reps 2013 open; 2014 Bridget Epp; and 2015 Mark McClenathan with the job description still being defined.
Judy and Brad Sommerfeld have offered to help with the Plebe Parent Picnic in June.
Cathy Jostes reviewed the “Where Does Dues Go” sheet she created and passed it along to incoming President Denise Gibson. Cathy Jostes stated that several cadets had expressed thanks for the boodles boxes sent in January.
Dues for upcoming year were discussed as the membership form needs to be ready for the incoming class. Motion to set family dues at $50 and associate dues at $20 made by Mark McClenathan and seconded by Janine Mogan; motion passed. Information will be given to Tamara Reichert so she can update the membership form.
Vice-President: Eric Gibson said thank you from the group to Cathy and Dan Jostes for setting up the tour of Fisher House and the VA Hospital, it was very informative and appreciated. Eric Gibson also thanked Cathy and Dan Jostes for their efforts and work as outgoing club presidents.
Secretary: Minutes from general meeting on 1/22/12 were previously distributed, minutes stand as written.
Meeting adjourned 4:15pm.
