This list is a collaborative effort between AOG and WP-ORG. Death notifications are currently sent to class lists and to the Society where the decedent lived. Until now, graduates who were not either a member of a decedent’s class or society did not receive timely notification of a death. Therefore, the purpose of this list is to give society members worldwide timely notification of all graduates’ deaths so that members can attend the funeral or send condolences in a timely fashion. WPSST will continue to transmit notifications of society deaths by email message (Be Thou at Peace) and will maintain this site for other notifications.

Steve Brown called me to say that his wife, Betty, had just died. She had been
resident at the Health Care Center of Falcon's Landing for some time and died
in her sleep, quite peacefully, Steve said.

daughter gave me the number that he would appreciate hearing from old friends

William D. Tatsch, 89, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant
colonel and stock broker, died Sunday, March 9, 2008.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Thompson's Harveson
& Cole Funeral Home. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lt. Col. William D. Tatsch, retired from the U.S.
Army, was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Eldorado. He lived in
Lt. Col. Tatsch taught law at USMA from 1948-'52,
and, after earning his MBA from Harvard in 1960, was assigned as an instructor
at the Army Management School in Fort Bevoir, Va.,
from which he retired in 1968.
Following retirement from the military, he briefly held a position with Tandy
Corporation before becoming a stock broker with Rauscher-Pierce. He retired a
second time in the '90s.
After retiring again, he devoted himself to development of a Merry Maids
franchise, two restaurants, and being a member of Action Ambassadors of Fort
Worth. His hobbies included amateur golf and being a master bridge player.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ruthe
Evelyn Clarke Tatsch.
Survivors: Children, William D. Tatsch Jr. and his
wife, Eleanor, Stephen R. Tatsch and his wife, Gail,
Sandra Roy and her husband, William D. Roy III; grandchildren, William Roy IV,
Tracy Roy, Shawn Roy, William D. Tatsch III, Michael Kreeger; great-grandchildren, Montana Diego Diaz, Wyatt

Lamar, Patricia Jo and Wilma Jeanne, along with their children. They
spoke to the strong positive influence he had on their lives and values,
although many humorous anecdotes about his antics kept everything in
perspective. The grandchildren will miss their fun-loving Papaw as much
as his children.
The Honor Guard from Wright Patterson AFB (where Scott and his family
were stationed three times in the 40's and 50's) closed the services at
