From the USMA 1951 50th Reunion book:

Combat Crew Training in F-84s at Luke AFB, AZ I was off to Korea for a combat tour. During my tour in Korea I was transferred to 5th Air Force Headquarters (Advanced) in Seoul. After Korea I was assigned back to Luke AFB, AZ as a gunnery instructor.

Some time, between "hard landings" and "ground loops" at Bartow AB, I managed to meet and marry Norma, my wife of 49years. While at Luke AFB (before Korea) we had one daughter, Marilyn. After Korea (second tour at Luke), we had twin sons Bill and Greg. at Luke I was eventually assigned as a Special Weapons instructor. After Luke, I went to A-PIT at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH and receIved an MSEE degree. After graduation I went to Hanscom Field, MA and was assigned to ESD as an R&d officer. I worked on the engineering, devellpment and integration of several electronic systems which became operational in both the European and Asian theaters. I retired from the Air Force at the Arnold Engineering and Development Center AEDC, TN and have have remained here ever since. The base (AEDC) and all that it offers is just minutes from home.

Norma and I went into the Import business with another retired Air Force couple. After several years of working as an 'executive", "salesman", "packer" and "chief gofer", I again retired. Since "retirement" Norma and I haven't worked so hard. Between hunting, fishing, gardening, house remodeling, camp building, "bush hogging and mowing" motor-homing, and dog training we are kept very busy and active.

My daughter married an Air Force Academy graduate who has since retired as an Air Force physician. While still in the Air Force they blessed us with three grandchildren, all girls. One of our twin boys (Bill) died a few years ago. The other twin, (Greg) is living here in Manchester, TN and working as an independent contractor, installing fiber-optic cable.
