Age of the forest edges were determined by sampling the tree ring patterns through coring.
There's a Personal Weather Station with an Internet feed located off 799, on a hill just above Clinton Compton's Garage. It's the closest data feed for the Buffalo. It also has historical data. Here's an example for 12 November 06
