Deployed West Point grads from our WPPC-IL membership are also included. If you have a deployed soldier please provide his or her name and address to Melissa via email @ melissafoakley@gmail.com.
Boodle Party Attendees
Please bring 10 items (snack packs of cookies, granola bars, candy, silly toys, gum, toiletries, cards, games…whatever!) with a total value of $10-$15 to place into the Plebe boodle. We will be filling 23 Plebe boxes.
Plebe parents will take the filled box and be responsible for mailing the box of goodies to their cadet.
Write a note in advance or at the party to include with gift cards and boxes.
We will have USPS flat rate boxes on hand for use with all Plebe boodle boxes.
Please bring a dessert, appetizer or dish to share with others attending the Boodle Party.
If you are unable to attend, please provide the address of your cadet/deployed West Point grad so that we may send their boodle or gift cards.
We welcome additional donations to offset the cost of this effort whether or not you are attending. Please send donations (payable to WPPC-IL) to our club treasurer, Janine Mogan, at 1617 Kirby Court, Naperville, IL 60563.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on February 9th!

Spirit Bus Details for NIU game

"Spirit Bus Details!"

Caveats: NONE

The bus will depart West Point at 1 a.m. on Friday, Sept 2 with a projected arrival time of 3:15 p.m. in Lombard, IL.
The parents can pick up their cadets at the Embassy Suites, 707 E. Butterfield Road, Lombard, IL.

Departure will be on Monday, Sept. 5 at 8 a.m. with a projected arrival time of 11 p.m.

I asked about another stop, but they are trying to minimize additional movements and accountability of cadets.

Cadets traveling via the spirit bus will be briefed on the time table and procedures in the next couple of days.

2011 Summer Picnic

Thank You to Col. Todd and Carrie Garlick for hosting our wonderful summer picnic at their home at Great Lakes Naval Base on August 28th.  While our cadets were weathering the rains and winds from Irene, our club enjoyed a glorious afternoon overlooking Lake Michigan.  Thank you to all who participated, brought food and made the event so much fun.  But a special thanks to Col. Garlick and Carrie.
