Army - Navy Game at Le Playoff on 8 Dec Print

Join the West Point Society of Paris in cheering on the brave old Army team at 7:30pm on Saturday, Dec 8th, at Le Playoff - Wagram. (We will begrudgingly tolerate cheering for Navy by the one squid we've graciously invited.) Uniform is "As for beat Navy".

Kick-off is at 9:00pm local, but we are meeting early for a dinner beforehand – the Parisian version of a tailgate party. This will give our Society an opportunity to welcome (and farewell) cadets spending the semester in France.

Guests are welcome to attend the event. Please let me know who will be accompanying you when you RSVP. Send your RSVP to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by no later than Dec 1st.

The dinner will cost around €40 (more info to follow once we have the final headcount). Cadets and midshipman in attendance will be our guests for the dinner. A drink or two will be included with dinner. Additional beverages will be pay as you go.

Le Playoff - Wagram: 58 Ave de Wagram,

Cadet Welcome Dinner Print

At the quaint Auberge Le Pot de Terre, just off the bustling rue Mouffetard in the historic 5th arrondissement of Paris, we gathered for a sumptuous dinner to welcome this semester's group of visiting cadets. Coming from Lille, from Lyon, from St Cyr at Coëtquidan, they converged for the weekend joining other cadets studying in Paris to swap stories and experiences with the "old grads".

Monsieur François Martelet MD, who is a Colonel in the French reserves and a former French professor at West Point was our special guest of honor.
