Congratulations on your acceptance to the United States Military Academy! Here at the West Point Parents Club of Michigan (WPPCMI), we are thrilled to welcome your family to our community.
Established in 1958, WPPCMI holds the distinction of being the first military service academy parent club in the United States. With our rich history, we have cultivated a strong network of parents dedicated to supporting Michigan cadets and their families as they serve our country.
At WPPCMI, we understand that the journey through West Point is unlike any other. That’s why we offer a range of benefits designed to support you and your cadet every step of the way. One of our key offerings is one-on-one mentoring with experienced parents who can provide guidance and support as you navigate the challenges and opportunities of academy life.
Please mark your calendars for our Hail & Farewell Picnic on June 8 at Plymouth Township Park. Your entire family is invited and this is a great opportunity for them to meet with active cadets and get their questions answered. Dozens of parents will also be in attendance and you’ll make connections with others from Michigan making this very special journey with you.
Our benefits extend beyond just social connections. We provide opportunities for service, allowing you to give back to the community and support your cadet’s journey. Additionally, we foster relational connections that last a lifetime, building a strong network of support for you and your family throughout the 47-month experience and beyond graduation.

Regular Membership
- Regular memberships are open to the parents of cadets and graduates of the United States Military Academy and the United States Military Academy Prep School. Regular members receive access to the password-protected Members Only page of the club website, including the Member Directory on the West Point Parents Club of Michigan website, full voting rights, and their Cadets enjoy various WPPC-MI programs that benefit the Corps of Cadets from Michigan.
- Five-year members receive exclusive Firstie benefits celebrating Michigan USMA graduates, including convenient graduation luncheon access, graduation gift, U.S. Congressional Record, inclusion in Michigan Pathways to Leadership and more. Members are also granted access to the Facebook pages West Point Parents Club Michigan and WPPC-MI Ride Share, among other benefits.
