West Point Parents Club of Michigan Army Navy Pregame Party
Private Sold Out Event for WPPC-MI Members and Friends
Fado’s Irish Pub 1500 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Wristbands are required for entry to the pub. Your entry price gives your first drink free and hors d’oeuvres. The dinner menu at Fado’s is awesome, so please consider ordering dinner during that time frame while the kitchen belongs to us.
One person in your party, please retrieve your wristbands and drink coupons at the hotel from Tom Lynch prior to 4:30 on Friday. Text Tom’s cell (734.707.5160) to make arrangements. If you aren’t able to connect before 4:30, wristbands and drink tickets will be waiting for you at the pub. Again, wherever possible, one person from the party should go to the hostess stand at the pub to retrieve the wristbands for the entire group.
Game Day
Even though Kick Off isn’t until 3:00 in the afternoon, the stadium opens at 11:00 for all of the pregame activities including March On, Prisoner Exchange, Flyover, parachuting and more. It’s also CBS Game Day just outside the stadium where the silliest friendly rivalry posters can be seen in the crowd of Cadets and Middies. Don’t sleep in!!
WPPC-MI highly recommends using public transport from the hotel to the stadium. It’s an easy, safe commute and there’s no hassle with Uber and Taxi lines or parking issues. You’ll get on the train at Broad Street and simply follow the crowd. Whatever your plans for transportation, you’ll find the directions, handicap access and other details you need here. Also, be sure to check out this link for all the details regarding stadium security, allowed items for entry and more.
If you haven’t already made dinner reservations for Saturday evening, it’s still worth trying. The city is packed and lines at restaurants can be hours long after the game.
Sunday
If your travel allows you a little time in the city afterward, you may want to check out the Philadelphia Christmas Market before heading out of town.
