PICNIC
TO HONOR APPOINTEES TO
THE CLASS OF 2006 TO BE HELD ON JUNE 15, 2002 The
annual June Picnic to honor those who have accepted appointments to the
United States Military Academy will be held on June 15, 2002, in the
Fellowship Hall of First Christian Church, located at 350 Hyde Park Ave.,
in Tampa (at the foot of the bridge to Davis Islands). The covered
dish picnic will begin at 11:30 AM. Each family is asked to bring a
covered dish to feed six people. The Club will provide the main dish of
chicken as well as iced tea, coffee, and eating utensils. Please
bring serving spoons for your covered dish. All Cadets home on leave
and their parents are urged to attend this important event. Remember
how important it was to you to be able to hear first hand from a Cadet or
a parent about the West Point experience. We hope there will be lots
of Cadets there to answer questions from the appointees. A map
showing the location of the church is attached. Please call Bob or
Krista Manley at 813-948-6160 by June 9th so the appropriate amount of
chicken can be ordered for the picnic.
