Army Navy March On Photo Project

How are the proceeds used?

2010
The money from the 2010 project has been donated to a non-profit which works closely with the liaison office at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.    You are probably aware that Walter Reed has closed this year.   With all the effort to move to Bethesda,  there is a lull in the delivery of vans but we fully expect to hear about future candidates soon.   There is NO shortage of need.   I read that there were over 75 multiple amputees in 2011 by the end of 3rd  Quarter.    We are just as anxious as you to share the good news of who is benefiting from your donations.

We continue to follow Carlo and Rose Marie,  shown below, as they just took possession of their new mobility designed home near Fayetteville NC, and he will soon be working for the same organization called Operation Homecoming.   Please enjoy this 3 minute story of Carlos (sorry about the 30 second commercial).

2009
The money from the 2009 project was used to purchase a conversion mobility van for Marine SGT Carlos Evans and his wife Rose Marie.    SGT Evans was severely wounded in Afghanistan,  so this customized van will provide him with the freedom to be able to drive and travel again.   Here is the story we posted last year:
