Congratulations to Jenny (Grzbek) Buckner '90

Hall of Famer

She was selected for induction into the Army Sports Hall-of-Fame as a member of the Class of 2014.

Jenny won the 200 backstroke her senior year at the NCAA Div II Championships, becoming the second Army swimmer to be crowned a champion at that meet. She earned 10 All-America certificates in her career and won five MAAC titles in the backstroke during her career. The women won the MAAC team title all four years of her West Point career and she graduated with five Academy records. Jenny held both the 100 and 200 backstrokes, as well as being a member of the 200 and 400 medley relays and the 400 free relay. In addition, she was selected as an Academic All-American her senior year.

Jenny is from Downers Grove, Illinois and is currently a Colonel serving as the Commander of the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade at Ft. Meade Maryland.

She becomes the fifth Army swimmer in the Hall-of-Fame as she joins John VanSant '87, Ann Marie Wycoff '89, Ted Kanamine '77, and Chelsea Haviland '06.
