2-way transfers ok

I got the computers set up to transfer files in both directions. I still don’t have the internet connection set up on the old computer. I mean I’m not able to share the open connection from the new computer. This makes life difficult for keeping software installed and updated on the old one. For example, I had to put the OpenOffice install program and files in the shared directory so that the old computer could see them for install. That’s not so bad because I don’t think I’ll be updating OpenOffice very often. The anti-virus software on the other hand needs to be updated weekly to stay current with the latest virus signatures. It’ll be painful not being able to directly access the internet to get the updates done.
