week 3 training report

I had a good running week logging 58.95 km with no new aches or pains. My goal for the week was 50km.

I did 4 sorties with a strong 21 km on Sunday at a sub 5min/km pace. It was a crisp, cold, and dry day and I stayed on the hardtop to get a reference time for a half marathon distance. When I go on the forest trails in the mud and over difficult terrain the pace goes down of course, so a trail run is not a good indicator of 1/2 ‘thon performance.
