Founders Day celebrations are hosted around the world annually in February–April
by West Point Societies to honor the March 16, 1802 founding of the Academy as well
as its graduates who have fallen in service to the nation. These events include a
reception, opening remarks, posting of the colors, reciting the Cadet Prayer, toasts,
dinner, cake-cutting ceremony, speeches, and singing of the alma mater to celebrate West Point.
Our Club President/Vice President attends this event to welcome new Parents and Cadet Candidates. Parents of Cadets are also welcome to attend.
