PICNIC TO HONOR APPOINTEES TO THE CLASS OF 2007 TO BE HELD ON JUNE 7, 2003 The annual June Picnic to honor those who have accepted appointments to the United States Military Academy will be held on June 7, 2003, in the Fellowship Hall of First Christian Church, located at 350 Hyde Park Ave., in Tampa (at the foot of the bridge to Davis Islands). The covered dish picnic will begin at 11:30 AM. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish to feed six people. The main dish (chicken), iced tea, coffee, and eating utensils will be provided by the Club. Please bring serving spoons for the covered dish. All Cadets home on leave and their parents are urged to attend this important event. Remember how important it was to you to be able to hear first hand from a Cadet or a parent about the West Point experience. We hope there will be lots of Cadets there to answer questions from the appointees. A map showing the location of the church is attached. Please call, Larry or Jan Brown 813-891-0518 with the number attending by June 2nd so that we can order the appropriate amount of chicken for the picnic. They can also provide any additional information or directions if needed.
CONGRATULATIONS! UNITED
