PICNIC TO
HONOR APPOINTEES
TO THE CLASS OF 2005 TO BE
HELD ON JUNE 16, 2001
The annual June Picnic to honor those who have accepted appointments to the United States Military Academy will be held on June 16, 2001, in the Fellowship Hall of First Christian Church, located at 350 Hyde Park Ave., in Tampa (at the foot of the bridge to Davis Islands). The covered dish picnic will begin at 11:30 AM. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish to feed six people. The main dish (chicken), iced tea, coffee, and eating utensils will be provided by the Club. Please bring serving spoons for the covered dish. All Cadets home on leave and their parents are urged to attend this important event. Remember how important it was to you to be able to hear first hand from a Cadet or a parent about the West Point experience. We hope there will be lots of Cadets there to answer questions from the appointees. If you desire additional information or need directions, please call either Dick and Martha Hull at 727-526-3090, or Bob and Krista Manley at 813-948-6160. A map showing the location of the church is attached. Please call Dick or Marty Hull by June 10, so that we can order the appropriate amount of chicken for the picnic.
