August 2009 – St Louis WPPC donates $1,000 to the Class of 2009
Marge McCullough (George ’00 & Robert ’04), presented a $1,000 check to WPAOG President COL (R) Robert McClure '76 on behalf of the Class of 2009 -- the proceeds from class tumbler sales. Among the attendees of the brief presentation, were Debra R. Dalton (West Point Parents Club Coordinator), and members of the Class of 2009, recent grads: 2LT Brooks Korvin, 2LT John Moonshower, and 2LT Sarah Yates. August 2009 – Best School in the Country West Point receives high honors from Forbes in its latest issue set to hit newstands 8/07/2009. It ranks West Point as the top college in the country, ahead of other notable institutions like Princeton (#2), Harvard (#5) and the Air Force Academy (#7). The rankings are based on student evaluations, alumni listed in Who's Who in America, amount of student debt at graduation, percentage of students and instructors who receive nationally competitive awards (Rhodes Scholarships or Nobel Prizes), and the percentage of students who graduate in four years.
