In Memorium

7 March 2009– 1LT Daniel B. Hyde, 24, (Class of 2007) of Modesto, CA, died on 7 March 2009 in Samarra Iraq, from wounds sustained in Tikrit when an expolosive device struck his vehicle.  Lieutenant Hyde was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield barracks, Hawaii.		Capt. John L. Hallett III, 30, of California, died Aug. 25 in southern Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.
