Class Reunion

Class Reunion is Rapidly Approaching!

I have just added several important links that you will need to visit and pay for the activities. There is a secure site at West-Point.org that you should visit to take care of the activities here at West Point, and a secure site at WorldTEK that will let you take care of all the hotel functions. Addtionally, AOG has designed some reunion attire that you can purchase. If I am missing something, those in the know should contact me so I can get it published. Please take the time to make it a coherent snippet so that I can cut and paste. I am an engineer, not a writer.

Class Reunion Agenda

The Class of '95 10-Year Reunion will take place Thursday, October 6th through Sunday, October 9th. Please open this attachment to view the Preliminary Agenda for the Weekend.

Class Registration (Ready to go!)

A number of the events must be registered for and paid for at this site. This includes the Alumni Review, the Tailgate, the memorial service and a Sunday Brunch in the Mess Hall. Again, the link is https://secure.west-point.org/usma1995/reunion/. I know this is late notice, but we need you to act quickly.

This is the new part. EVERYONE attending the reunion must register. Most events are free. Where we need your cash is for meals. Everyone is HIGHLY encouraged to attend the Memorial, Class Meeting (Friday) and Parade on Saturday. Uniform discussion has gone back and forth. There really is no consensus. USMA would like us to wear khakis and a sports coat, but they have added if you are wearing a class polo shirt, that is fine too. Uniforms are not mandatory (USMA faculty, you guys do your own thing based on your requirements), and I leave that to you all to decide if you want to wear one or not. The centerpiece of the reunion is the tailgate. It will kick off in the late morning with our favorite Yuck band, ROADHOUSE and will continue after the game with a full compliment of fest tents, tables, chairs, brats, burgers, salads, soft drinks and beer!!! Think of it as paying for two full meals that day (with BEER). That takes me to costs. In my philosophy of full disclosure for this thing, I want to tell you all that we have agonized over prices and costs. Frank Byrne has done a marvelous job of doing financial statistical analysis that is of the most professional excellence. From risk, to assumptions, to sensitivity analysis, we have juggled over $400K of contracts that have the goals of a superior event at the most efficient cost. Bottom line, if you do EVERYTHING including hotel rooms, the average couple with one or two kids is looking at $700-800 for a four day weekend at USMA--ALL INCLUSIVE (game, meals, transportation etc).

Hotel, Bus Transportation and Class Banquet Sign-Up--Available NOW

Worldtek travel will be the Class of '95's "One-Stop Shop" for all Hotel, Bus, and Hotel Activities/Class Banquet registration. Please visit the Class of '95 Sign-Up at:

https://wems.worldtek.com/USMA95reunion

The busses will be following this schedule. This will let you know when you will be travelling to and from the hotel.

Continue to go to the class page on our contractor's website https://wems.worldtek.com/USMA95reunion to sign up for hotel rooms, hotel events (such as the BIG class banquet) and bus transportation. Parking is SEVERELY limited at USMA. Please take advantage of our rather inexpensive bus options. The center of most activities (and parties!) will be our hotel. The bus contract is designed to support this; if you are USMA faculty or staying with one, we have boomerang buses to take you to the hotel and back later that night. Hotel rooms at the main hotel are going fast, but we have plenty of room at the overflow hotel across the street. Chris Steiner has arranged for a shuttle between the two during most reunion dates. The Worldtek site addresses all of these options. Lastly, it has been brought to our attention that a few classmates have had some glitches with credit card charges. This has been aggressively resolved, but if there are any problems, notify Worlktek's accounting department at (800) 243 1723, ext 2. They are very helpful.

Weekend Activities at West Point

Finding Classmates

As our reunion approaches, many people are trying to find each other. AOG runs a great service that can be found here. You will need to login, and the AOG Homepage has directions for getting your credentials.

Do not email me with your updated information. I do not have access to the AOG database, you will need to contact AOG yourself to update the information. I run a separate email list.
