We are so glad to have you as an active member of our community.
We’re currently looking for volunteers for the upcoming West Point Leadership Ethics in Diversity (LEADS) FREE WORKSHOP.
WPSA will again support the Leadership Ethics and Diversity in STEM (LEADS) Workshop. This event is promoted by USMA in several cities (Detroit, Atlanta, NYC, Denton (TX), Fort Bragg, Oakland, Jackson (MS), Chicago, Indianpolis, Washington, D.C.)
The event is hosted by Atlanta Public School (APS). APS wants to encourage science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in the school system and encourage minority students to enroll into JROTC programs and attend USMA.
Sessions during the day-long program will include Robotics, Bridge Building, Ethics, Ethical decision-making and role playing.
WPSA members are encouraged to attend and participate with over 300 APS middle and high school students, and JROTC cadets. USMA cadets will also attend and assist in organizing the event.
