WPPCMI Annual Meeting Information

  • Social Hour begins at 9am with coffee and bagels
  • Annual Meeting begins at 10am promptly
  • Election of 26/27 WPPCMI Officers (See candidate slate below)
  • Reveal of the Club Calendar for 2026/2027 
  • Opportunities to join or chair a committee 
  • Memberships must be current no later than February 14th to vote at the Annual Meeting
  • Joining us in person is highly recommended, however a virtual option will be available to those who are unable to travel.

WPPCMI 2026 Slate of Candidates:

Edward Kryzsik | President

Edward is the parent of a West Point Cadet (Class of 2029) and is seeking the role of President of the West Point Parents Club of Michigan. He is the co-owner of Loyal Drums, a company that manufactures ceremonial and field drums for the U.S. Military, including the West Point Band and the West Point Hellcats, as well as for schools and universities around the world.

He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at American Military University and is the CEO and Founder of Honor Service Strategies, a veteran-owned professional consulting firm. A proud United States Army veteran, he previously served with The United States Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps. Edward holds a Bachelors Degree in History and an MBA from American Military University.

Edward currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Washington Tattoo (a military term referring to an evening music performance). The Washington Tattoo is committed to supporting veterans through music and cultural diplomacy. Edward also previously served on the boards of the Chelsea Education Foundation and the Chelsea Area Historical Society.

Patty Wilkerson | Vice President

 

Patty is a proud parent of Cadet Steven Wilkerson (Class of 2029).  She is currently the Merchandise Chair and a member of the Holiday Care Packages Committee.

The West Point Parents Club of Michigan was a huge blessing to the Wilkerson family offering valuable support and information as they were transitioning to becoming a family with twin sons attending service academies. Patty will continue to be involved in any way she can to help the West Point Parents Club of Michigan continue to be a success and a vital source of support to new service academy families, West Point Cadets & our deployed military.

Patty is a Vehicle Cost Manager at Stellantis and lives in Rochester Hills, MI, with her husband, Toney. They have six children: Quitia, Marci, Kyle, Sean, Steven and his twin brother, Michael, who is a Midshipman at the Naval Academy (Class of 2029).

Jennifer Schang | Recording Secretary

 

Jennifer is  an active member of the West Point Parents Club of Michigan and a proud mom to Cadet Nathan Schang (Class of 2028), as well as to her daughter, Katelyn, and son, Kyle. She and her husband, Brian, have been involved in the West Point community, and Jennifer enjoys supporting cadets and families through her service with the club. She currently serves as co-chair of the Boodle Box Committee, works behind the scenes as an editor of the club website, and is part of the new family mentor program, helping to welcome and guide families as they begin their West Point journey. In addition, Jennifer is a member of the West Point Field Force for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District (MI-07), supporting outreach and awareness of the Academy.

Jennifer is an engineer and now brings her skills, organization, and problem-solving mindset to her role as a paraprofessional in the Farmington School District. She enjoys working with students and supporting educators, and values the opportunity to make a positive impact in her local community. Her professional background, combined with her commitment to service, reflects her passion for helping others thrive—whether in the classroom or within the West Point family network.

Kristy Rolands | Corresponding Secretary

 

Kristy Rolands is the current Corresponding Secretary of the West Point Parents Club of Michigan and is seeking a second term.  She is the proud mom to Cadet Quinn (2028), Reece (10th grade), and Elliot (7th grade). While Quinn is away at West Point, the younger siblings keep Kristy and her husband, Jeff, busy with their many activities.

She is currently a Staff Accountant with Risk Strategies, headquartered in Boston, MA, but is thankful to work from the comfort of her home office, in Berkley, Michigan.

Kristy has enjoyed her time with the West Point Parents Club of Michigan and looks forward to continuing to serve in a leadership role. She and her husband Jeff will also chair this years Family Weekend Tailgate.  Every day she learns something new about West Point and Academy life and hopes to be a valuable resource to new and existing club members.

Renee Hooker | Treasurer

 

Renee Hooker is the current Treasurer of the West Point Parents Club of Michigan and is seeking a second term. She is the proud wife of Greg and mother to two sons, Cadet Nathan Hooker (2027) and Joshua. Renee is an active participant of many WPPCMI events including family weekend, Army Navy football weekend, fundraisers, Holiday Care Packages, All Academy Ball, and send off picnics. She has also served as a mentor to new families and championed the boodle box distribution for new cadets at family weekend.

Renee is currently working as a business analyst for Xerox Corporation and held multiple positions over the last 31 years. She grew up in Western New York, moved to Michigan in 1998, and currently resides in South Lyon. Renee enjoys spending time with her family and cherishes the new friendships she has made while at the WPPCMI.
