A RECEPTION FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING WEST POINT WILL BE HELD ON DECEMBER 28, 2002
The annual West Point Parents Club Reception for High School and college students who are interested in attending the United States Military Academy will be held at the Crown Plaza Sabal Park Hotel, at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 28, 2002. We are happy to announce that Colonel Rick Bowman has agreed to be our guest speaker. Our cadet speakers will be: Matt Hirsh ’03, Jennifer Barrow ’04, Ty Reedy ’05, we will also have a cadet from the class of ’06. As of press time we are still accepting appointees, please contact the Brown’s to appoint your plebe.
All cadets home for Christmas leave and their parents are urged to attend this important event. Remember how important it was to you to be able to hear first hand from a cadet or a parent about the West Point experience. Please bring picture albums and memorabilia or other display items of interest. Most importantly, bring your cadet and be prepared to talk to potential applicants and their parents about your West Point experiences. If you know of any young people who are interested in the Academy, please let them know about this reception.

BIG ARMY-NAVY GAME PARTY AT RAYMOND JAMES STADIUM ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 7,2002
The West Point Society (USMA Alumni) has invited our club to join them and the Naval Academy Alumni at their annual Army-Navy game party at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, December 7. New this year, the party will be held outside in the Buccaneer Cove area by the pirate ship. The game will be shown on the Jumbo-tron. The cost is $25 per person, which includes entry to the stadium (parking is free), a BBQ buffet, desserts, soda, tea and coffee. Beer and soda will be sold for $2 and cocktails will be $3.40. The game starts at 12:00 noon so they advise that you arrive by 11:30 am and bring your suntan lotion. Enter the stadium from Himes Avenue and park/enter through the East Club entrance.

NEXT MOM AND POP LUNCHEON TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 9, 2002
The next Mom and Pop Luncheon will be held at the Crown Plaza Sabal Park at 12:30 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2002. Please RSVP to your Class calling captains by November 5th with the number of family members attending. If you forget to RSVP, you may still attend.
