CLUB PICNIC SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER
9TH
The annual Fall Picnic will be held on September 9, 2000
in the Fellowship Hall of First Christian Church located at 350 Hyde Park
Avenue, in Tampa (at the foot of the bridge onto Davis Islands).
The covered dish picnic will begin at 11:30 a.m..
Each family is asked to bring a covered dish to feed eight people.
Anyone who desires drinks
other than coffee or iced tea should bring their own. The Club will furnish chicken, coffee, tea and eating
utensils. Please make your
reservations by September 5, so that the proper amount of chicken can be
ordered. A map showing the location of the church is attached. Contact Dick or Marty Hull to make reservations at

parents are urged to bring to the picnic the Plebe Parent Weekend Booklet

plebe parents may have.
MOM & POP LUNCHEON SET FOR OCTOBER 7TH
The next Mom & Pop Luncheon will be held at the Radisson-Sabal Park, on October 7 TH. RSVP Paulette Valentine by October 4th at 813-991-6629. Come enjoy the great fellowship and catch up on what is happening at West Point and with our cadets.

CLASS
OF 2001
THOMAS ADKINS (E-1): Tommy attended CTLT with the 101 st Airborne
Division in the 81 mm Mortar platoon.
He experienced the realities of the Army. He is looking forward to getting back to West Point, being a
Firstie and Ring Weekend.
BRYAN DEMARE (E-2): Bryan did CTLT in Germany as a platoon leader
with the 94 TH Engineers. He
returned to West Point on August 10th and is anxious to experience life as
a Firstie and all that goes along with being that, such as Ring Weekend,
more privileges and a car reasonably close to the barracks.
JENNIFER LEIDEL: (F-2): Jennifer got to spend more than her usual time home this summer. She was home for two weeks, then back to West Point for Air Assault. Now she is double stacked with Airborne Wings and Air Assault too. After Air Assault she was home for a week to
