Although the game did not turn out the way
we wanted (Baylor 20 - ARMY 10) the 10th Annual Tamale Tailgate was a
huge success. The cadets and their guests were served 442
plates of tamales, brisket and links. Lieutenant General William
J. Lennox, Jr. (the "Supe") arrived later in the evening and
had the opportunity to speak with some of the cadets and to see for
himself how Texans Tailgate. Colonel Michael Jones has earned our
gratitude
for once again hosting the Tamale Tailgate and for graciously allowing
us the use of his home during Tailgate weekend. |
