Hoodoo Community

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. ~ Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

God’s design for humanity included community. Life’s joys and sorrows are best shared with others, providing opportunities for growth, support, and mutual encouragement. The absence of community can lead to feelings of loneliness and disconnect. Through participation in a biblical community, we allow others to see into the real depths of our heart. We receive the encouragement we need to overcome the world through accountability. A biblical community is important in times when we need to be encouraged in our faith, encouraged in our gifts and callings, encouraged in our successes, and encouraged through times of trials & pain.
