The picture is of me & the three
members of the Class of 2014 who are on the Army Softball Team. They are, from
l to r, Marina Northup, A-2, outfielder/pitcher; April Ortenzo, B-4, infielder;
and Amanda Nguyen, C-2, outfielder. the picture was taken today after Army's
fifth game in the Plainsmen Invitational Tournament at Auburn University. Army
went 2-3 in the tournament, losing to Furman, Kent State, and Auburn but
hammering Austin Peay and East Tennessee State.

All three of the cadets are glad to be
at West Point and very grateful for the Class of 64's sponsorship. I was
favorably impressed with their enthusiasm, commitment, and desire to serve in
the Army and lead Soldiers.
