1998 All Service Academies Ball Cover Letter for Parents' Club Presidents
Dear Parents' Club Presidents, This site contains the information you and your members need regarding the 1998 All Service Academies Ball to be held Wednesday, December 30, 1998, at the Officers Club, Fort Lewis, Washington . The intent is that you may (1) point your members to this site for all forms and information and/or (2) copy-and-paste forms and information from this site and snail-mail them to your members. The final RSVP Forms your members will need to snail-mail to Sharon Wojcik, who will return number and menu tallies to you. You'll need these tallies at the Ball. 300 reservations is about the maximum we can accept, given space at the Officers Club. Last year 270 reservations were made. You might want to advise your members to bear this limitation in mind. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with Cadets and Midshipmen, their dates and families having priority . In future, this process will become interactive on the web. You can see developing a template for use by all clubs during their turn to organize the Ball. To this purpose, please forward suggestions/offers-of-assistance to __ anytime the urge strikes! :-) :-) :-) Please have a representative from your Parents' Club -- I would suggest yourself -- at the Officers Club by 1730 hours on the evening of the Ball to greet and sign-in your guests. This is where you will need the number and menu tallies you receive from Sharon Wojcik . Your members who need hotel reservations will find contact information here . Please arrange to bring a CDs and tapes containing your Academy's music so that the DJ play from these during the evening. Please contact ___ anytime for any reason.
