COURSE CLOSED!

Sorry, but as of June 17th 2002 the Firefly course is closed probably to never return. I couldn't find anyone to keep it going after I left so I had to take the baskets down. It may be reincarnated elsewhere. I had a good time with it and it kept me in shape. It looks like I will forever hold the course record of 49. It can still be played as an object course since all of the baskets were hung from trees.

The Firefly Disc Golf Course is located adjacent to Biddle road across from the Youth Center. Scroll down for a virtual tour, a map and a course analysis. Or click on the firefly for a course map and scorecard in MS Word format.

The course tour is laid out as a series of separate pages linked below. Each hole has a picture or two and a description. I apologize for the quality of some of the images. My digital camera is first generation and didn't handle the lighting well. The baskets on the course are either a first or second generation Octopus .

The course is marked with blue triangular tee markers on the competition distance tees and red markers on the recreational tees. Orange flags are also up on the front nine until mowing starts in the spring. The back nine starts near the ninth basket and follows the course backwards. #14 is the longest and most difficult hole at 625'.
