Central Texas Grads & Families,
The West Point Society of Central Texas invites you to join us for our Annual Picnic at Camp Mabry. We usually host our picnic in the fall. But this year, we moved it to the spring for two reasons:
We want to have a send-off event for Central Texas Cadet Candidates. They’ll be reporting to West Point on R-Day, just a few weeks after our picnic!
Our fall schedule is packed with a ton of events; this helps space things out throughout the year.
For those who have not attended the picnic, it’s a very casual event and the picnic pavilion at Camp Mabry provides a relaxing, covered area near a small reservoir and a beach volleyball court. It’s a great area for all ages to enjoy on a Sunday afternoon.
As with all of our picnics, this will be a very family friendly event. We’ll have a clown doing face painting and balloon twisting from 11:30am – 2:30pm this Sunday, May 21.
We will also have members of the Class of 1971 on hand to begin their 50 year affiliation with the Cadet Candidates from the Class of 2021.
