July Monthly Luncheon

Our monthly luncheon is Wednesday the 11th from 11:30 to 1:00 at The Saltgrass Steakhouse, 10614 Research Blvd., across from Costco. We are in the private room. The other service academy alumni are cordially invited to join us.

Our guest speaker is our own Fred Bothwell ’62, who will give us a presentation entitled “West Point, the War of 1812, and the Texas Revolution: The Past as Prelude, or, History Doesn’t Repeat Itself, but it Rhymes.” A creative and entertaining assessment.

Fred graduated first in his class in English, served as an Armor officer for seven years, spent the next 40 years as an IBM road warrior, and has lived in Texas for 26 years. He is an active member of the TSHA, the CTHA, and is the second vice president of the San Francisco chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. He is a proud member of the Three-Century Club and says he will tell us what that is in his introductory remarks.

Bring a classmate, mingle and enjoy.
