Please join us at Capital City Vineyard Church, 1635 Coolidge Road, East Lansing from 9:00am – 12:00pm for the West Point Parents Club of Michigan General Meeting and Boodle Box Build on Saturday, October 4. We have a great agenda planned including:
- Social hour and potluck brunch to connect, reconnect and socialize with friends and families.
- Boodle Box packing for Plebe cadets
- Important club updates and information including: the Fall calendar of events, what we learned at the AOG Leadership Conference, and preparing for the future of WPPCMI
- Very special guest and conversation with Michigan’s own, Miss USA 2024 and 1LT Alma Cooper!
The Boodle Box Build starts at 9am, with the General Meeting starting promptly at 10am.
Please bring enough boodle to fill 15 boxes. We would love to treat the cadets with Michigan products, so please consider donating items from a Michigan company. Also, please try and think of special items that are not available in the cadet company Grab and Go spaces. Here are some ideas that will hopefully get you thinking: rice crispy treats, ramen noodles, gummies, Sour Patch, nuts, beef jerky, chocolate covered cherries, gum, sports drinks, Chapstick, vitamin C drops, lotion, playing cards, sticky notes or tabs, stress balls, winter hats, any nonperishables, any candy, any office supplies, small games, gift cards (i.e. Chipotle), West Point stickers.
The boxes will be transported from the General Meeting to West Point and the Plebe cadets will be instructed to pick up their Boodle Box at the WPPCMI Tailgate on Family Weekend. Each box will have the plebe’s name on it to allow for personalized items to be placed inside. So please feel free to bring any special items you would like to put in your Plebe’s box!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at jennifer@schang.net. If you cannot make the meeting and would still like to donate you can drop off or have items shipped to my house. Email me for shipping details.
