 America’s First West Point Parents Club…Since 1958.

Welcome to the West Point Parents Club of Michigan website. Our primary mission and purpose is to help cadets and their parents/guardians navigate the journey of cadet life with guidance and support from within our network of USMA families.

The West Point Parents Club of Michigan is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer-run organization dedicated to the support of Cadets, Graduates, and Families of West Point. We encourage Michigan families with a West Point Cadet to join the WPPC-MI and to participate in our diverse set of the club-sponsored activities. WPPC-MI is the first parent club established at West Point in 1958. Our goal is 100% membership from every MI Cadet to continue as the oldest, strongest and most active parent club!

Like None Before. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

We are so proud of the graduating Class of 2024! Members of the West Point Parents Club of Michigan are eligible for numerous benefits at graduation as a celebration of the accomplishments of our Firstie Class . Thanks to this year’s Firstie Committee, Ariana, Trish, Janet and Irene.

It’s WPPCMI Tradition for members of the Cow Class to support the Firsties on graduation day with their luncheon. WPPCMI is still looking for members of the Class of 2025 to support this effort.  Please reach out using the Contact Us button to find out more.

Here’s what’s coming for our Firsties and Firstie Families:
  • Graduation Luncheon at the 49er’s Club–casual, easy, delicious, reasonably priced–on post walking distance from Michie Stadium (½ mile), immediately following graduation.  There is no program for this lunch—just come as you are, when the timing is best for you and your party. Reserve seats for your party here. Michigan members may invite friends from other states to join them for this convenient, casual lunch option.
  • Paths to Leadership booklet which will be printed for each cadet—a 24-page, 9×11 booklet, professionally designed and printed, a kind of Michigan yearbook with photos and particulars about each cadets’ branch, post, memories.  Extra copies are available for purchase at a reasonable price and make a great memento for family and friends. Pathways to Leadership 2023
  • Howitzer Yearbook full-page advertisement featuring a photo of every graduating Michigan cadet.
  • Firstie Gift from the Club to each cadet—it’s personalized and has their 2024 class crest.  Michigan graduates over the years love it!
  • U.S. Congressional Record—read into the U.S. Congressional record and includes your son/daughter’s name as a graduate of the United States Military Academy.
To members of the Class of 2024, please don’t delay in responding to the 5-6 questions in the Graduation RSVP form linked here.

U.S. Postmark on Graduation Day
Did you know that West Point Parents Club of Michigan has had the honor of designing the official U.S. Postmark used at the West Point Post office on graduation day for more than ten years?  Again, on May 25, 2024, there will be a special postmark, designed by the family member of one of our Michigan 2024 cadets.  Plan now to mail your graduation announcements from the West Point post office that day.

WPPCMI Michigan Luncheon is a short walk from Michie Stadium at the 49er’s Lodge.  Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Firstie Committee leadership and club members and friends, this year’s luncheon is delicious and especially affordable for our Michigan families.  $25/adult; $15 children (5-10 years, under 4 complimentary).  Michigan Graduates eat FREE!  At this price, our luncheon is guaranteed to sell out, so don’t wait to reserve seats for your party here.
