25 October 2010:

  • Parade Seating.  The attached diagram shows the seating in Section G for spouses and family.  Classmates out front on the parade field.

20 October 2010:

  • FINAL UPDATE!  Please review the "Welcome Back" letter for a recap of all of the reunion details as well as the final Agenda.  It provides details day-by-day as well as bus, parking and registration information.  Also verify the amount you paid here.

  • Reunion Registration.  Contact Joanie Emmer, our Reunion Coordinator, if you need to update any of your information.  You can send her an email using the link above.

  • Golf Outing.  Kathi Snook has been in contact with all golfers.

  • Football Tickets.  Contact our Reunion Coordinator, Joanie Emmer, directly if you still need football tickets; she has some in our class section.  If you cannot attend, she will also attempt to resell your tickets.

  • 30th Reunion Cycling Event From Al Duff.  We will meet on at the MWR Gym, Bldg 683, on Washington Road on Thursday morning, October 28 at 0830 hrs.  The Gym is located just north of the West Point Cemetery. If anyone needs a ride from the Sheraton hotel, Kathryn and I will have a rental car and can take two with us. Please let me know.  Don't forget to bring your saddle, helmet, gloves, etc.

19 September 2010:

  • Attendees.  B-1 is leading the way with 18 attendees.  E1 and E2 are bringing up the rear with 4 and 3 respectively.  Seven companies have ten or more registered to attend.  Click here for the company roll up or here for the by name list.

  • Reunion Registration.  It's not too late to register!  297 classmates have registered to attend.  If you haven't registered, you can still get in on this great event!  Note that 28 of you have registered (paid the $175 registration fee) but have not selected/paid for events such as game, lunch, dinners, etc.  Total number registered by event can be found here.  Our reunion coordinator has room in all events.

  • Hotel Update.  The Hampton Inn is still available for overflow and can give us more rooms if we need more space.

  • Football Tickets.  Contact our Reunion Coordinator, Joanie Emmer, directly if you still need football tickets; she has some in our class section.

  • Cycling Event From Al Duff.  I have confirmations for five classmates who will be joining the 30-mile reunion bike ride on Thursday morning, October 28th at 0830 hours.  Please check out the website COL Bastianelli has set up for us along with the details of the course.

15 August 2010:

  • Reunion Registration.  Joanie will start locking in reservations for various functions and ordering supporting materials next week.  Get your reservations form in ASAP!!!!

  • List of Attendees.  We have 181 classmates registered as attending as of 13 August.  Click here for the alphabetic list or the list by company.  B3 leads the way with 11 registered, followed closely by B1 and E4 with 10 each.  E2 is AWOL with none registered, I2 has 1 and F2 has 2.

  • Hotel Update.  The conference hotel, Sheraton Mahwah, is completely booked for Friday night.  A suggested alternative hotel for those of you Sosh Run procrastinators, is the Hampton Inn, Mahwah.  Rate is $125 which includes breakfast.

10 July 2010:

  • General Information.  The second mailing to all classmates should have gone out this week.  The letter can be downloaded here.  A couple of important deadlines are fast approaching:

  • Football Game.  Football tickets need to be ordered by 1 August 2010.  Download and return the order form to the Army Ticket Office by mail or fax, or order online at www.goarmysports.com.  The Army Ticket Office can be reached by telephone at
    1-877-TIX-ARMY.  We will be sitting in Sections 16 and 17 of the lower deck (where we sat as cadets)

  • Reunion Registration.  To facilitate reunion planning (meals, facilities, buses, etc.), the registration deadline for the reunion is 15 August 2010.  Download a registration form to pay by mail or go register and pay online using West-Point.org's secure server.

  • Reunion Hotel.  We will be staying at the Sheraton Mahwah.  Rooms are $125/night (Standard) and $135/night (Deluxe).  Click here to go to the Sheraton Hotel.

  • Golf Outing.  A golf outing is planned for Thursday.  Click here to register individually or to indicate preferred teams for the outing.

  • Cycling Outing.  Al Duff is working with the USMA Cycling Club to host a bicycle ride on Thursday.  If interested, please contact Al Duff directly.

  • Class Memorabilia.  Some items are included in the registration fee and will be provided upon check in at the Sheraton Mahwah.  Additional items may be ordered from the West Point AOG Gift Shop.  The order form also allows you to indicate a need to ship items to your address if you are not able to attend the reunion but would still like to order class or West Point memorabilia.

  • Agenda/Dress The agenda lists the times and events for the weekend:

    Thursday Evening.  Gathering is “golf” casual (sport shirts and slacks) for the men and equivalent for the ladies.
    Friday Daytime.  Activities are casual dress with comfortable walking shoes (keeping in mind our Memorial Service this day).  The Friday agenda allows time for touring the Central Area, as well as visiting Ninninger Hall, the newly renovated Arvin Gym and shopping in the usually “closed to the public” Cadet Store.
    Friday Evening.  Class Dinner will be business suits or sport coats for the men, equivalent attire for the ladies. Seating will be by Cadet Company at tables of ten. If you prefer seating with persons outside of your company, please forward the names for your ten-person table to Joan Emmer prior to 15 October.
    Saturday Daytime.  Men are expected to wear a sports coat (per AOG request) or uniform (if desired) for the Cadet Review.  There will be a choice of return buses from West Point on Saturday to accommodate those not staying for the post game tailgate.

21 March 2010:

  • Registration.  Registration for our 30th reunion is now open!  You can register and pay online (using the wp.org secure payment system), download the registration form and return it with payment via mail, or you can wait for the old fashioned class mailing (adds to the reunion overhead cost).

    • The registration fee is $175 for you and one guest.  If you know of additional guests needing bus transportation, you can pay that too.

    • If you chose to pay online, you will be charged an additional 5% to offset the credit card charge.

    • Later announcements will cover paying for optional tours, meals, etc.

You will be able to sign up via snail mail (pay by check and return form to the Reunion Coordinator) as well as sign up online.  Anyone using the online piece will incur a 5% sign up fee to be charged to the individual (so the class will not have to foot the credit card 5% fee).  We will be using the wp.org site for online payments.
