2008
20 APRIL: Annual Memorial Ceremony at the Wall and Annual
General Membership Meeting. Class mates will meet at the Vietnam Memorial in
Washington, DC for a ceremony honoring Roger Quinn and Ralph Wensinger. This
will be following by a Brunch General Membership meeting at the ARMY-Navy
Country Club in Arlington, VA.

4-7 MAY: Class Mini-Reunion - Tampa/St. Pete FL to be held at the Sirata Beach

6 JUNE: Major Class Meeting with Class Committee and Reunion Committee at IDA in
northern VA. Meeting will start at 2:00 PM.

7 JUNE: Tom & Liz Munz have graciously agreed to host a Class Picnic at their
lovely home on the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, MD.

JUNE: Initiate dialogue via E-Mail on nominees for the Distinguished Graduate
Award and the Thayer Award. Class Committee should make decision on same NLT
August so nomination packets can be prepared and submitted by the November
deadline.
29 JULY: Maine Summer Gathering at the Tibbetts home in Auburn, ME.

LAST WEEKEND IN AUGUST: Class of 2009 Ring Presentation - 2 Class Reps to
participate and sit on-stage during ceremony (Friday) and participate in
reception after ceremony; Reps will attend Comm's reception and banquet on
Saturday.

Scholarship, awarded to a child of a member of the class, who is a junior,
senior, or post-graduate student enrolled in an accredited four-year college or

30 MAY: Graduation of Class of 2009. 2LT Bar presentation occurs in conjunction
with graduation ; 4 high-ranking Classmates will be on-stage to present 2LT bars
to cadets after they receive diplomas. 2009 Class Flag will be presented to
president of the Class of 2009 and "Lessons Learned" pamphlet will be presented
to all members of the Class of 2009 at appropriate ceremony.
