Welcome to the Class History Project home page.  This project was formally launched at the 45th reunion in mid-September 2003.   The “main event” for the 50th anniversary of our graduation will, of course, be the grand 50th reunion in May, 2008.  In conjunction with that reunion, the project team is hard at work preparing to publish our 50th Reunion Yearbook, which is sure to be a special keepsake for all members of the class as well as their families.

Every classmate will have a half-page of information and pictures included in the book in the “Pass-in-Review” section.  We have continued to accept “late rank” inputs following the original 30 May cutoff date, while we were processing the inputs we had received  Now, based on our final schedule with the publisher, the ABSOLUTE FINAL DEADLINE for closing the “Late Rank” and receiving input from classmates is 15  November 2007!!!

The best way to provide the needed inputs for the yearbook is to use the web-based data collection system.  The above blue “50th Reunion Yearbook” button above will take you there.

The success of the 50th Reunion Yearbook will largely be measured by how close we come to 100% participation in providing the requested information. What we need from each classmate NOW (NLT 15 Nov) is a personal bio of approximately 450 words telling your story as you want it told, a “career” photo, and a “family” photo.  You should find all the information you need to get started on the web site, but you can direct your questions to Glenn Brown (LTCBrown@comcast.net) or Alan Salisbury (AlanBS58@aol.com).

Thanks for helping to make this project a success!

There is still room for other volunteers who would like to support the project. One open position is for a Class Archivist to catalog and file (ie, store) all of the materials we will be gathering, with the objective of ultimately turning them over to a permanent archive somewhere. Contact Alan at AlanBS58@aol.com to discuss.
