The face of combat command
(left), LTG (R) John H. (Jack) Cushman, class of 1944.
And (right) 25 years later
as ardent West Point supporter and active AOG member. |

General Cushman's
bride, Nancy, among the bluebonnets of Texas in the spring of
1946 when she was living at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, awaiting
the General's return from Japan so that they could be married.
And... |

...57 years later,
my daughter, Jacqueline, amid the bluebonnets near Austin.

Mike Havey, class
of 1968, as a Yearling (Left) with his drag, Kit. Somehow he
managed to convince her to hang around as his OAO (musta had
something on her family) 'til, two years later (Right), she accepted
his proposal. Ever the pragmatist, Mike hedged his bets (doubtless
that's not water in her glass).
Nice tie.
That was then... |

...and this is now,
with Kit holding grandaughter Kathleen. Daughter of daughter
Kathleen, daughter of wife, Kit, Kathleen (no more, please, I'm
on my second round of Grand Marinier).
Nice tie.
