WP-ORG's ninth fundraising drive began on Tuesday, April 17. Our
goal is to raise $95,000 to sustain the operation of WP-ORG for
the next six months. Thanks to the generosity of our members,
Fund Drive 9 is off to a good start: donations since Tuesday
evening total almost $6,000.

Most of you know that WP-ORG provides a broad range of services to
all associated with West Point, both parents and graduates.
WP-ORG provides nationwide forums for parents: wpp-net (West
Point Parents Net), parent-forum, plebe-net, and their associated
resource websites. WP-ORG also provides regional forums and
websites for our local West Point Parent Clubs. As parents we are
deeply indebted to WP-ORG for its support of these information and
communications resources.

We have a secure on-line website that you can use to make a

Making your donation by credit card is quick, easy, and reduces
processing effort on the part of WP-ORG. If you prefer to donate
by check, please make it payable to "WP-ORG", indicate "Parent"

Because WP-ORG is now recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3)
organization, donations are 100% tax deductible.

Donations to Fund Drive 9 will fund WP-ORG services through the
end of September. The money raised goes completely to the
operation of WP-ORG. There are only two paid employees who keep
the systems up and running, and who manage the development and
operation of our excellent websites for parents. To see what I

All other individuals involved with the operation and management
of WP-ORG are unpaid volunteers, including all the moderators on

We keep you up-to-date on West Point information and
announcements, and attempt to answer all of your questions about
the West Point parenting experience. All parents are subscribed
free of charge. Many join us in providing information, relating
experiences, and providing advice. As always, you are invited to
participate. I hope that, like me, you consider this service to
be of value and that you will be among the contributors to Fund
Drive 9.

Don't worry about the size of your contribution. Every
contribution is appreciated; every contribution helps.
