The
Savel Girls
September
18, 2001: I am really bad at
updating this thing! The girls have
their first soccer game yesterday! They
won 4-1 and Catherine scored a goal!
Here are some pictures! During
the practice the weather was hot and humid high of 90s! The first game: cold, misty and 58
degrees!

I can see lots of
primping going on here…
October

like the main character. Kimberly chose Stellaluna and Samantha did Officer Buckle. They did a great job!

July 16,
2010: Wow!
Times flies when you move across country, drive to Michigan, then back to
North Carolina and get settled in a new and very different place. Here are some pictures of the summer so far:

June 2,
2010: Busy couple of days here. The girls’ last day of school was Friday and
we had a neighborhood water balloon fight.
45 minutes…14 kids…100s of balloons.
Then we had a huge storm come through (surprise surprise)
and the girls were drawing pictures of it.
Then Kimberly and Samantha had their tonsils out. They did great. They were a little nervous right before and
Samantha came out of anesthesia with fist flying (did you expect anything
else). But they are doing great…eating
hot dogs and popsicles. T minus 14 days
until we are out of here…
May 28,
2010: Today is the girls last day of
school! As of 4:00 today we will have second
graders in the house! We are so proud of
them! And yes, I cried as they left for
the bus by themselves today. Paul said
it was time…I was still sad! But I am so excited for this crazy summer! We are going to have so much fun and the
motto of the summer will be “to relax and have a good time!” It is going to be a crazy beginning to the
summer, but we wouldn’t want it any other way!
First day of school Aug

May 24,

for a while:
December
31, 2009: Here are some things
that have happened in December:
We took the girls
skating…they had a blast and by the end of the time they were skating like
pros…who still sometimes fall down!
They had a Christmas piano
recital at the house. A few of the
neighborhood children came by to listen and have some hot chocolate! They are
pictured with their music teacher, Mrs. Susan.
And we went to
Disney…for Christmas!
We came home to lots and
lots snow and then it snowed some more…
December
12, 2009: The girls cannot get
enough of the snow! They used their
birthday presents and started to build a fort.
They also have their ammo ready for a true snowball fight.
December 8,
2009: Our first snow day happened today. We got the call at 6:00am and the girls were
up and dressed and out the door by 7:30!
They had a blast!
December
7, 2009: We were at a Christmas party
last night and look who showed up:
December

came out:
November
27, 2009: Wow, I am really bad at
keeping this thing updated! J I did
just get back my battery charger so I can take pictures again. We had some visitors for Thanksgiving and we
had a blast! LaDonna,
Dennis, Michael, Hannah and Addison came down (well really over) to spend some
time with us. Here are some pictures of
the trip:
We went to Granite City for dinner and
then to Legends to see the tree…then we went and got some custard
(not really sure
why…it was so cold outside and it happen to be a find raiser night for a
wrestling team…it was crazy busy!)
YUM!
Custard!
The next day we went to the WWI
museum! They had a good time…but I think
that Michael got the most out of it.
We went up to the top of the tower
above…below are the views from the top:
While Michael was here, he pretty much carried
around a book then entire time…the girls decided that they wanted to be just
like Michael:
Having slushes while reading…very cute!
And last but not least…Samantha’s tooth
is VERY loose…we tried all week to get it out…no luck…
So far…
November
