Vincent P. Generoso, age 31, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Albany Medical Center after losing his battle with leukemia.

He was born October 4, 1973, in Gloversville, the son of Matilda and Vincent "Butch" Generoso. He graduated from Gloversville High School in 1991. He attended West Point Prep School and then graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., in 1996. He entered the Army as a second lieutenant and attained the rank of captain when he left the Army in August of 2004. While in the military, he spent four months in Kuwait and one year in Iraq. Vince felt that serving his country was an honor. He was employed at Merrill Lynch in Albany at the time of his death.

He leaves behind his wife Jennifer, a daughter, Maia, 5, and a five month old son, Nicholas. Jennifer says "I started dating my husband when I was 13 and we were part of the 2% club!! We were a true team"
