Mr. Wimpy D. Pybus
Deputy for Integrated Logistics Support, ASA(ALT)

Mr. Wimpy D. Pybus serves as Deputy for Integrated Logistics Support, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), Headquarters, Department of the Army. He is responsible for integrated logistics support policy development, management and oversight for Army weapon systems and equipment. Prior to assuming his current duties in January 2002, Mr. Pybus served as Director of Aviation and Munitions, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff G-4, Headquarters, Department of the Army.

Prior to joining the Army Staff in December 1995, Mr. Pybus served as Deputy Director for Maintenance Policy, Programs and Resources, in the Office of the Secretary Defense where he was responsible for oversight of weapon system maintenance programs in all four Military Services. Prior to appointment to the civil service in 1992, Mr. Pybus served as an active duty Army Officer. During his Army career of over 30 years he held several aviation and logistics management and leadership positions in the Army, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Department of Defense.

Mr. Pybus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Troy State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University. He is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College Program Manager Course and the John F. Kennedy School of Government Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University.

Mr. Pybus is married to the former Doris Staudel of Kaiserslautern, Germany.
