Rebekah and Reenactments

Rebekah turned fifteen in 2006.  The picture below is with her best friend Stefani and Rebekah's giant cupcake made by Mom. Dad, Amanda, Sariah, Hannah, and Marissa went to a Civil War (or War of Northern Aggression as it's known around here) reenactment in Bridgeport. If you look closely at the pictures of the sky you'll notice an anvil in the middle.  They really did and still do launch them into the air with powder.  They said it was done in lieu of fireworks back in the 1800s.
