Amanda turned eight in 2001 and was baptized and confirmed by her dad. Amanda played soccer this year and her team never lost a game! Her coach said she won the award for the Most Improved Player - she was very timid at first and by the end would take on any of the best players on any team! It was fun to watch her! She even took a header one time. (O.k. so it wasn't on purpose, but she just shook it off and kept on going!) She also played goalie a few times. Amanda has taken up piano lessons and likes it a lot. She is in third grade and doing well, though one of her very best friends moved away this year. She misses Alex. She loves to sing and wants to join Choir (if she can wake up…), but her sister isn't thrilled to have her follow in all of her footsteps…
