A hungry giraffe.

One in the distance.

It's Pumba!

The warthog and this rhino show up daily when they bring the orphan baby elephants out at this center in Nairobi. It was impressive.

This was one of four orphans at the center when I visited. The handlers live with them day and night until they reach adulthood.

Sign at the safari outside of Nairobi. I was fortunate to have a day layover in Nairobi when I returned from the Sudan and got to do a mini-safari.

Another sign.

And the last warning as you enter the reserve.

There was a bunch of these baboons eating in the trees over our heads.

This is an eland, the largest member of the antelope family and good eating.

This is a hartebeast. Makes pretty good meatballs.

We were walking a trail when this guy showed up behind us and tagged along.

Reminded me of the guys from disney's Jungle Book.

We were driving after some zebras trying to get a good picture.

I called to these three and said say cheese and they all turned and looked. :-D

This is the Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi where they serve wild game. The eland steak was the best steak I've ever had.
