This day's route was a long one over some rough terrain. The burros did wonderfully - except that Jake got renamed 'Darth Mule' when he knocked Cooper down and he fell into a dry stream bed. Luckily, he spun around, so his pack broke his fall. After a long, hard climb up to Ewell's Park, we were hit with a hail storm. Once we got to Ute Meadows, we unloaded the burros and Kyle, Josh, Grant and I returned the burros to Alpine Meadows. This trail is marked in blue.
