The master audio format was the Windows Waveform sound (wav) and encoded at the standard rate (PCM 44.100 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo). The RealPlayer (rm) and Windows Media Audio (wma) formats were encoded at a 20kb bitrate and Moving Picture Expert Group (mp3) format was encoded at a 32kb bitrate to reduce file size, speed streaming playback time, and retain sound fidelity.
