Locals' Monthly Mailings

Qualify for a Free Play level by logging the required number of base points for that level, in the 90 day period that ends one month before the monthly mailing. For example, the qualifying period for the May mailing is the three month period ending 31 March.

Positive VP machines (which have a disclaimer tag) require $2 coin-in to earn 1 base point.

Listed below are guesstimates of the latest guidelines (Green Valley Ranch requirements may be higher) used for the monthly mailings.

JAN 2005

Boulder station has reduced the individual-RF payout, on the 5-play NSUD games, to a flat $1000; resulting in
an ER of 99.73% on the game itself. The 3-plays continue to have individual game progressives.

OCT 2004

Boulder now has 25c (5 Play) NSUD progressives. On screen, the NSUD does NOT appear to be progressive, but there is a glitch in the program being worked on and if you hit a royal (dealt or otherwise) you WILL be paid the progressive amount. If facing the 5c side of the triple play, 3 banks to your left and just behind you will be a 5c 5 play and the other side of it is the 25c 5 play.

JAN 2004

*** As a general rule, it appears that it now takes $2 to earn
1 point @ Stations and the Fiestas on all positive ER games.

DEC 2003

Current policy at Stations seems to be that they won't give any discretionary food comps to people who play positive machines, but will comp their rooms. A discretionary room comp probably requires around $8,000 Coin-In per day (on average) now.

DEC 2003

LV Stations and Fiestas announce that full pay games will require $2 to earn 1 point beginning in JAN 2004.

NOV 2003

Hotel - This was the first hotel built by Station Casinos and it incorporates many of the best features found at the original Palace Station. This small hotel offers 300 standard-size and quality rooms. Rooms are quiet, comfortable, well designed with bathroom and closet by the door protecting the sleeping area from noise. Wall to wall windows to enhance the view from about knee high to ceiling. Check-in has always been quick and efficient. Pool is small and unimaginative. A guard is posted @ entrance to elevator during evening hours.

Slot Club - Boarding pass may be used at other Station properties. Booth is staffed by courteous and knowledgeable personnel. Frequent dining discounts are offered including ½ point early bird specials. Seniors (over 50) club offers activities plus dining and movie discounts.

Dining - Feast buffet is decent, but lower quality than other Station properties (IMHO). Cafe offers several blue-plate specials. Guadalajara offers very good Tex-Mex food and a wonderful salsa bar. Pasta Palace is their Italian entry. Northern Italian food available at reasonable prices. Broiler offers fresh fish and steak at decent prices. Fast food options include Burger King, China Palace, Pizza Palace, Starbucks and Viva Salsa.

Entertainment - Railhead is a small showroom offering nightly live entertainment including the Boulder Blues series on Thursday nights. Kixx Lounge has Karaoke on weekend. Regal Theatres - 11 screens. Kids Quest is the onsite supervised child care facility.
