Pansy Ophelia Marlar Murphy

Pansy Ophelia (Marlar) Murphy, 83 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Lifetouch Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas with her family by her side.
She was born January 30, 1933 in Lake Village, Arkansas to Thurman O. and Jenny Jay (Cox) Marlar
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, D.B. (Bo) Murphy of Magnolia, Arkansas. They were married for over 65 years at the time of her passing. Her parents established Marlar"s Cafeteria over 50 years ago and at one time the Murphy"s owned it. Others that are left to mourn her passing are three daughters, Susan Watson, Cathy Young, and Wendy Cox and husband, Tracy all of Magnolia. Ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren will cherish her memory.
Graveside Services will be held in the Columbia Cemetery near Waldo, Arkansas. It will be a private family only service at the cemetery on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 and a gathering will be held at the Marlar Cafeteria in Magnolia Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. that is at 2116 North Vine Street in Magnolia, Arkansas. Donations may be sent to a charity of choice in Mrs. Murphy"s memory. Service is under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR.
